Les Rencontres du Carré de Soie

On Saturday October 5, 2019 took place the second edition of the « Rencontres » du Carré de Soie, a free street party, initiated by the metropolis of Lyon, with the cities of Vaulx-en-Velin and Villeurbanne and in co-construction with the actors of the territory.

For this edition, Oùesk, in charge of artistic and technical direction, coordinated the organization and co-construction of the event, in collaboration with the Collectif Pourquoi Pas. 

Taking place on the street Alfred de Musset, the intention of the “Rencontres” is to bring together a large number of local actors committed to sharing their knowledge and skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Around sixty events for young and old alike were thus proposed around the emblematic places of the district, sport, art, books, ecology and recycling. 

The event was also an opportunity to initiate exchanges and debates between the inhabitants on different themes and to discover the Carré de Soie urban project.
